Welcome to another election Oct.24th, 2022 and Kearney is back to mail in VOTE, in 2018 there were less than 1000 voters who voted on election day. This year we are back to MAIL IN VOTING hoping to encourage more constituents the opportunity to vote.

As future mayor, I would like to hear from the constituents on how you and I can work as a team to build a better Kearney. to attract more business, tourism and agriculture to the area. Your input would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me at 705-978-2886 or cell 705-978-1838 no charge.

I am better known as the fruits and veggie guy at Fetterley's gas bar for the past three years. A minor health issue which has been rectified, preventing me from operating this past season see you in the spring.

As a community we need to pull together to make Kearney the place to come and enjoy. Things I think we need are storage units, accommodations (motel or hotel), and a larger variety of food as well as entertainment and many other items. Please voice your opinion.

Hello

My name is Douglas G. Boyce

I grew up in Grey county western Ontario, went to college and graduated basic chef training at George Brown college 1968 and graduated advance chef training at Algonquin College may 1970 as a certified chef. Worked many of the hotels in the Ottawa area as well as quality cooking at Guelph university serving 25 to 3000 meals. Moved on to wholesale food as driving truckload became involved in truck driving, from 1977 to 1990 and moved to new Brunswick and bought a fish market return to Ontario 1995 became involved in transport owned Americas Frt, Link Inc.to December 2021. then retired from transportation.

I have daughter and grandchildren in Magnetawan, and daughter in Tennessee and 4 grand children,

Have lived in Kearney for 5 years and have enjoyed the programs for seniors also run the fruits and veggie down at Fettleys gas bar for the passed 3 years.

As mayor of Kearney I operate a transparent and dependable operation and be available to converse on issues the local people have.
